Here at T A L E S  O F  T E X T U R E  we believe we must look after the natural world so that it contines to look after us!

Sustainability is woven into everything we do and achieve, and operating in a sustainable manner drives our design decisions daily.

Plants A Tree With The 'Trees For Life' Scheme

So Why Plant a Tree......??

  • Help Fight the Climate Crisis; By removing CO2 from the atmosphere trees lock it away and produce fresh oxygen for us all to breathe!
  • Trees clean the air; As well as exchanging CO2 for oxygen  trees absorb pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulphur dioxide and ozone allowing us to breathe fresh, clean, safe air.
  • Create wildlife habitats; Trees provide habitats for wildlife that is fundimental to the survival of many species including the red squirrel, european badger, great spotted woodpecker and the peacock butterfly.
  • Trees maintain local water sources; Trees hold water, prevent flooding and restore underground reservoirs.
  • Prevent wildfires; trees, woodlands and forests all help reduce the devastating impact of wildfires to communities and wildlife habitats.
  • Trees bring people together; At Trees For Life their trees are planted by volunteers, some of whom join from mental health charities, who aim to bring people together in nature to improve well being.
  • Create a seed source for the future; Planting in areas without a seed source means the forest will be able to succeed itself once established.
